Most fleets offer early boarding from around 18:00 on Friday for an extra night's fee, subject to the boat being back and cleaned. It is worth asking for when your flight lands late.

All three Trogir marinas have guarded parking, charged per day, and it should be reserved with the boat rather than on arrival in high season.

Trogir is ten minutes from Split airport and a UNESCO old town you can walk to from the pontoon. It is the practical alternative to Split for Saturday turnarounds when flights land late.

Getting to Trogir

Split airport (SPU) is a ten-minute taxi from all three Trogir marinas — the shortest airport-to-pontoon transfer in Croatia and the reason most late-arriving Scandinavian crews start here.

Wind, sea and season

Departures run through the Trogir channel and past Čiovo into the Šolta channel, where the maestral picks up by midday. The channel bridge opening times matter if you are berthed inside the old town; the marinas outside have no such restriction.
